Black Dirt Days - Destination Conrad, IA - June 9 and 10th, 2017
Highlights you won't want to miss! 

WheelHouse is a nationally touring Americana and bluegrass band hailing from Madison, Wisconsin. As a full-time they perform over 220 shows per year and have garnered attention from national labels. Featuring three and four part harmonies, fiddle and guitar leads, and driving rhythm of the upright bass WheelHouse brings an energy and attitude unique to themselves.  WheelHouse also owns their own brand of whiskey appropriately named WheelHouse Whiskey, which can be found throughout southwestern Wisconsin.

Dash and Splash 5K Run/Walk and 10K Run
The route begins at the Family Aquatic Center in Reunion Park and is a blend of city streets and bike trail. Participants can enjoy free admission to the Family Aquatic Center.

Grand Parade
This parade theme is "Destination Conrad"  Prizes will be awarded so get your parade entry ready for the big day!  Line up begins at 10:00 a.m. at the BCLUW High School parking lot.  The Grand Marshalls for the parade are any BCLUW bus drivers, past and present.
Saturday 11:30am

If you have a friend or a favorite stuffed doggie you will want to participate in the annual Chamber Main Street Dog Show.  Located at Reunion Park.

The Kiddy Tractor Pull will take place on the 200 block of Main Street.

Classic Car and Truck Show
Registration starts at 12:00 pm, or directly after the parade.  of $15, includes car show t-shirt.  Four trophy classes, including Best of Show and People's Choice.  All show participants are welcome to join the parade.  (Parade starts at 11:30 am, please line up by 11:00)

Woodcarving Auction
Travis Kimball is who has been creating since 2010.  Kimball will be carving by Gier Park (across the street from the fire station)  He will auction off 4 sculptures that he will carve on Saturday   All proceeds from the auction benefit future BDD events.

Black Dirt Days Bazaar
The second annual BDD bazaar will be held at the Conrad Public Library in the conference room.
